Once we finally left home, our first stop was only an hour down the road at Edi Cutting. We got to see both sets of grandparents and some family friends. Everyone had heaps of fun swimming and snorkelling in the beautiful swimming holes and rapids on the King River.

☝ The rapids we loved swimming in.☝

A log my brother and I jumped off.

We climbed a mountain and this was the beautiful view we saw.

I really enjoyed snorkelling in this swimming hole

I enjoyed sitting on a rock that was slightly submerged underwater.

This is the beautiful sunrise that I saw down at the river.

After two tries I finally jumped of the highest rock.

Us with our family friends.

Once we got to Burrowye (a camp spot on the Upper Murray), we had a refreshing swim in the fast-flowing waters of the Murray. In the morning before the sun rose all the sheep and cows were down at the river swimming and drinking. It was so cute!!!!

In the morning there was lots of mist.

There were heaps of cute sheep and lambs down at the river.

This was the view from our campsite.

All the cows went down for swims at the river.

Once we had set up the caravan, we all went into the Swampy Plains River for a quick dip. It was freezing!! We have all really enjoyed laying in the warm afternoon sun watching all the friendly kangaroos hopping around our campsite. I have started to enjoy fishing. I caught 5 fish on my first evening fishing, but sadly they were too small to keep.

My brother and I loved making funny photos with shadows.

The beautiful mountains around the campsite.

All the kangaroos kept coming into our campsite, hopping around.

There was a small waterfall on the other side of the river in front of our campsite.

One night I took photos of the beautiful sunset that was reflecting in the clouds.

Me sitting down with my (tiny) fishing rod.

When I caught my first fish of this trip(I was really excited)!!
.

Highlights:

👉Jumping off a high cliff into a freezing cold swimming hole in the King Valley.

👉Climbing up a steep mountain to see the lovely view of the King Valley.

👉Realising the place we were going to camp along the Upper Murray was fully flooded, then finding a much nicer campsite instead.

👉Catching my first fish (of this trip)!!

👉When we came back from a walk at Geehi camp spot and saw a really cute joey at our campsite (it was sniffing my shoes!).
