Week 55 - Sunday 2nd April - Monday 10th April

Tocumwal, VIC

At Tocumwal we went into town for a day and Jackson and I went to school to see our friends. We had a great day. After school we all (including my friends) went to Purtle Park where we had a little birthday party for me. Mum made a cake and we got soft drink, pizza, popcorn, lollies and chips. We all had heaps of fun and by the time we got back to Tocumwal it was past 9:00! We were all really tired the next morning! Luckily we were just having a lazy day so most of the day Jackson and I played in the water with Marty-it was so fun! Jackson and I also floated down the river in the tyre. 

The next morning was my birthday!  I got up as early as Mum and Dad let me and started opening my presents. I got some lollies, some clothes, a painting, a bag and a beautiful silver necklace with an E pendant on it. Afterwards we made breakfast, I had pancakes with maple syrup, raspberries and ice cream. Throughout the day I swam, read my book and went on short walks. For lunch we had sausage rolls and party pies- they were yum! Soon after that Xavier, Madi, Zoey and their parents arrived. We spent the rest of the afternoon showing them around and before long it was time for dinner. Dad cooked up some delicious steak along with some vegies, it was an awesome dinner-but the best was yet to come!  My birthday cake was awesome! I had a chocolate mud cake with chocolate icing, a sugar plaque and mini eggs and also chocolate brownies with M&Ms! It was all yum. 

For the next few days we spent 90% of our time in the water-even though it was freezing! We also went on a couple of walks, went on the slackline and played bocce. Soon enough it was Easter! We all got heaps of eggs and I spent most of the day eating them!! Our neighbour also took us out on his boat. That afternoon all us kids dug a massive hole which we lit a fire in, then we all brought chairs and snacks down and sat around the fire. The next day we left. It was a bit hard to get out because it was REALLY muddy but we all made it.

Week 54 - Thursday 23rd March - Sunday 2nd April

At Torquay we:

• Had heaps of fun hanging out with our cousins, our aunties and uncle and our Grandma and Pa.

• Jackson and I had a surfing lesson with our cousin Logan, it was really fun and by the end of the lesson we had all  stood up. Later in the week we went to a different beach and hired surfboards. Jackson, my cousins and I had heaps of fun surfing into shore.

• Had a look at all the surf shop outlets, I bought a new bikini, a backpack and a jumper.

• Went to the surf museum, it was really interesting and I got to design a surfboard. 

• Went into Geelong, walked along the foreshore and got ice-cream.

• On one rainy day we went to Bounce with our cousins and had heaps of fun on the climbing walls and trampolines.

• Walked around the Botanical Gardens in Geelong, there were heaps of beautiful flowers to see.

• Went out for dinner at a pizza place with my Uncle Markus, I got a delectable pulled pork pizza.

We had a great time at Torquay.
