Week 17- Tuesday 12th July - Saturday 16th July

Babinda, QLD

Star Rating:★★★

★=Full Star☆=Half a Star

Babinda……again! But this time it was sunny and we had our cousins to play with! We went down to the Babinda Boulders and found a swimming hole with a boulder to jump of, we had heaps of fun!

Can you spot the two murder birds (curlews), one of them disguised itself as a log!

Our cousins had found a rock we could jump off, it was super fun!

Jackson, Logan and Jenna (Logan and Jenna are my cousins) squished me to death before we left!

Trinity Beach, QLD
Star Rating:★★★

★=Full Star☆=Half a Star

We had a super sneaky sleep in a side street at Trinity Beach! It was super fun even though we had to sneak around the caravan so we wouldn't get caught! We had a delicious dinner and a beautiful breakfast down at the beach, we also had a swim even though there have been a couple of croc sightings! It was fun!

There was a full moon on the night we were at Trinity Beach.

We clambered up on some rocks and there was a great view!

Jackson and I played a game and this is how it went: we covered ourselves in sand, ran and dived into the shallows of the ocean and ran out and commando rolled in to the sand and repeated ↻!

Daintree, QLD
Star Rating:★★★

★=Full Star☆=Half a Star
On our way to the Daintree, and when we were in the Daintree, we saw lots of huge saltwater crocs (we also saw a small one)! They were super cool but I would not like to go near one of them.....I am still traumatised from when we went on a Croc Cruise on the last trip! The other thing we did when we weren't spotting crocs was exploring the Daintree rainforest! We marveled at the rainforest, wandered along the magnificent beaches (we did not swim, of course) and we also spotted some super cute cassowaries! The Daintree is, and was, breathtaking!

We saw a lot of crocs! The one above opened its mouth as if to yawn and the one below had a big fat belly!👆👇

We went on a walk to a gushing waterfall!

The beach was beautiful!

We spotted (and nearly stepped on) lots of starfish!

There were lots of mangroves!

We had a delicious cup of exotic fruit ice-cream, there was coconut on the bottom and on the top there was passionfruit, wattleseed and mameys sapote (see below👇). The ice-cream was yum!

We went on a boardwalk and there were trees growing through it, Jackson and I hugged every one of them!

We saw an island that we could walk out to on low tide (we didn't because it was too late).

A cassowary wandered through our camp!

We also saw two young cassowaries!

We found two super fun swings, one at the caravan park(it felt like a swing to heaven) and one at one of the beaches (Cow Bay).👇
