Gascoyne Junction, WA

We had an awesome time at Gascoyne Junction, Jackson and I spent the whole afternoon whizzing around the caravan park on our roller skates and roller blades. It was so much fun. That night we went down to the pub and ate dinner there. I got a burger with chips and it was yum! In the morning, before we left, Jackson and I played on the playground.

| Near our table in the pub there was a window made out of old glass bottles, it looked super cool (it is above my head in the picture). |
Kennedy Ranges, WA

At Kennedy Ranges we walked up Temple Gorge and found some kangaroo bones. Jackson found a kangaroo paw that Dad used as a back scratcher (it still had fur on it so I wasn't going anywhere near it!). Later that afternoon we walked/climbed through a steep gorge up to the top of the range. There was a great view and we could even see our camp. That night we had a campfire and we watched the sunset over the mountains, it was beautiful.
The next morning we walked up to Honeycomb Gorge and saw all the intricate rock formations.
All the beautiful rock formations.👇

Gascoyne Junction (second time), WA

The second time at Gascoyne Junction, Jackson and I spent the whole afternoon playing a game called grounders on the playground with some kids we met, it was fun. We didn't even stop playing when it got dark! That night we got to eat dinner at the pub with the friends we met and I got a burger again.

At Wooramel Station I nearly turned orange! This was because
the hot artesian bore baths that we were spending so much time in have a lot of
iron in them, which turns orange when it is exposed to air. When we sat in
the orange water it soaked into our skin, giving us a bad fake tan!!
Other than the warm bore baths, my highlights at Wooramel Station were:
- Laying on some swings that were attached to beautiful, big gum trees that lined the banks of the dry riverbed. Jackson and I had heaps of fun swinging on them, along with the kids we met at Gascoyne Junction.
- Walking through the station tip and admiring the ‘art’ that the station owners had made with all the junk.
We had heaps of fun at Wooramel Station even though we only stayed one night.
