At Sandy Cape we had a great time at the beach, the day we arrived there was a massive water slide set up on the dunes! It was like a slip 'n' slide but it had blow up sides and it went into the water! As soon as we saw it Jackson and I rushed into the caravan, put on our bathers, grabbed our boogie boards and headed down to the beach for some fun!! We had heaps of fun at the slide then the next day we had fun sand boarding on the same dune. We also went exploring and found some nice bays and beaches where I went swimming.

Like fingers sticking up from the sand, some of the Pinnacles were tall, some flat, some stubbly and some were thin. What they all had in common was that they were all beautiful and interesting.

On the way to Fremantle we stopped off at Yanchep National Park for lunch (there were some cute koalas on a short walk in the park). After a look around I got a pair of Australian Iron Ore earrings. They are VERY shiny!

Fremantle, WA Star Rating:★★★★★
★=Full Star☆=Half a Star On the day we arrived in Fremantle, Jackson and I had fun whizzing around on our roller-skates and roller blades, we spent lots of time on them in the mornings and afternoons that we were at the caravan park.
Exploring Fremantle: The next day we went and explored Fremantle, the first thing we did was go to the old prison. On the way we had a look at some street art, it looked great! When we reached the prison we went in to have a look around, it was super interesting and we were all surprised at how bad the conditions were back when it still housed prisoners. On the way to have lunch we stopped at the Roundhouse, where we watched a canon being shot. It was super loud! The canon gets shot everyday at 1pm. About the Roundhouse.... it was opened in January 1831 and it was used as a jail for the convicts that built it, then for accommodation for the water police and finally for storage. Now it is a very important building for local history because it was the first public building in Fremantle. For lunch we went to a fish and chip shop, our table was right next to the bay. Inside there were lots of fish tanks with crayfish, crabs, starfish, coral and fish. It looked awesome. For my meal I had fish and chips, with a juice and lollies. Afterwards we went to a ninja playground where Jackson and I tested our strength. Close to it was the Shipwreck Museum so we went in and had a look. The museum was incredible, we were amazed and there were so many artefacts that we enjoyed looking at. On the way back to the caravan park we stopped to look at a warehouse that had lots of art on it, the art looked incredible and super realistic! Our day in Fremantle was great.

On the road out of Fremantle there was a big sculpture of a rainbow, I had to take a photo from inside the moving car because there was nowhere to stop.

Exploring Perth: On our day in Perth we: - Had an relaxed morning so by the time we got to Kings
Park, our first stop for the day, it was time for lunch. We ate lunch at one of the many playgrounds in Kings Park and Jackson and I had fun on the playground.
- Went to park in near the centre of Perth and walked down to where a massive sand sculpture was being made. They were being made by professionals from overseas and from Fremantle - one of the sand sculptors was the best sand sculptor in the world! It was great to look at it and Jackson and I were also able to go into another area where we made our own small sand sculpture.
- Walked through the city looking at the old buildings. We stopped at a shopping centre that had a bright pink Christmas display that you could take photos in.
- When we got to the markets where we were going to have dinner, it was very busy and we were going to have to wait in a line for half a hour, just to order our food! So instead of the markets we went to a Thai restaurant to have dinner, I got Pad Thai. It was yum.
- After dinner we wandered around looking at the marvelous Christmas light displays that were scattered around the inner city. By the time we started walking back to the car it was nine o'clock and I was very tired and my legs were very sore! On the way back we went past the markets and Dad bought us some warm cinnamon sugar doughnuts, they were amazing! When we got back to the car it was very late and I was asleep on my feet! It had been a great day.
