On the way to Fernbrook Farm we stopped at Donnybrook and went to the Apple Fun Park (an awesome adventure playground), it is the biggest (free) playground in Australia and Jackson and I had heaps of fun on it. We also stopped in Bridgetown and had a look in some shops and at some murals, everything (from the shops, and every thing in them, to the murals) was beautiful. When we got to Fernbrook Farm, as soon as we had set up the caravan, we walked down to to see some friends we met at Sandy Cape. We watch the sunset with them and ate dinner together. The next day we went to Fonty's Pool, which is made from a natural spring. Fonty's Pool had lots of tyres (ranging from small to big enough to fit five people) that Jackson and I had heaps of fun playing in. Fonty's Pool was so much fun.

Day 1: On the first day we got to Olive Hill Farm we went into Margaret River where I had a look around the shops hoping to spend some of my Christmas money, but there was nothing that I wanted. When we got back to camp we rugged up (as there was a sharp wind) and I worked on the macrame kit that Mum and Dad got me for Xmas (when I finish it will be a plant hanger).
Day 2: NEW YEAR'S EVE! For New Year's Eve we decided to celebrate more during the day instead of staying up late. The first thing we did was go to a high ropes and zip line course, called Monkey Business. Jackson and I had SO MUCH FUN!! I loved the zip lines, they were my favourite. There were heaps of different ropes courses that had zip lines in them, but there was also a mega zip line and a zip line course with 6 zip lines in it- I went on it 6 times (so I did at least 50 zip lines in the 2 hours we were there). Well actually, we were there for 2 and a half hours because we pretended we didn't know the time when our 2 hours was up and I hid my coloured wrist band as I kept going on more courses, until I got caught and asked to leave!! After that we visited a couple of beaches (Dunsborough and Bunker Bay). At Bunker Bay we quickly got changed into nice clothes in the carpark ready to go to Swings and Roundabouts for lunch. Swings and Roundabouts is a very beautiful winery and the restaurant overlooks all the grapevines. There was a massive nature based playground and at some of the tables there were swings for seats!! We got one of these tables and it was so much fun to swing whilst you were eating. I had Margarita pizza and garlic focaccia for lunch- it was delicious. I also got a chocolate ice-cream from the little ice-cream shop they had on site. When we had finished we went back to Olive Hill Farm where Jackson and I played with friends we made at Busselton. We stayed up to 10pm with them. New Years was fun!

Day 3: Jackson and I spent most of the day running around with the friends we played with the night before. We had lots of fun with them. That afternoon we went into Margaret River and Jackson and I went on the massive skatepark, Jackson on my scooter and me on my roller blades. I went on the pump track that went around the outside of the skatepark, it was really fun!!

Day 4: We jam packed a lot into just over 12 hours-- Canal Rocks - we clambered over the rocks to look at the gaps between the rocks where the ocean sweeps in. We also saw some people jump off the bridge into the ocean stream and they got swept along so quickly - it was nearly like rapids. I wouldn't do it as they were about to get swept out into the ocean - it was super dangerous.
- The Aquarium - after a long, hot and dusty walk down we were glad to jump into the icy water of the Aquarium. The water was beautiful and clear, We also climbed up onto some high rocks and watched massive waves crash and make huge splashes.
- Injidup Natural Spa- It was super crowded here and there was no carparking so we had to park far up on the road. Injidup Spa is a smaller pool where waves that crash on the rocks around the pool make the water all fizzy like a spa- though it wasn't warm like a spa!
- Bunker Bay- After a quick lunch we went down into the bay - unlike last time there weren't any waves so Jackson and I had a practice on his new skim board that he got for Xmas. I fell off before I had even got on! Jackson and I also played with our surfer dudes in the shallows and we had a great time just swimming.
- Busselton Foreshore - Jackson and I set up his new scooter and had a quick go on it at the skate park before having a play on the foreshore playground. Afterwards I remembered that I knew the code for the shower block at Busselton Caravan Park so I snuck in and had a long, hot shower (there are no showers at Olive Hill Farm where we were staying).
- A beach just out of Busselton - we popped into a fish and chip shop on the way and ordered some dinner. They said it was going to be a short wait of only half an hour. Mum, Jackson and I watched the sunset down on the beach as Dad was waiting for the fish and chips - after nearly an hour and half waiting we finally got our dinner! It was good- but certainly not worth that long of a wait.
As the fish and chips took so long we didn't get back to camp until 9 o'clock- nearly as late as we stayed up until on New Year's Eve!
