The night before we went to Augusta we stayed in a caravan park in Margaret River to get some jobs and washing done (fresh sheets feel amazing!!!!). Before we left the next day Jackson and I went and had an awesome go on the skate park. As soon as we had set up in Augusta we went down to the Augusta foreshore, there were heaps of stingrays and pelicans near the boat ramp hoping to get a bit of fish guts!! Later, whilst the boys where fishing (they caught three whiting), Mum and I went exploring. We had a look at the Water Wheel, some beaches and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.
The next day we went to Hamelin Bay to see the stingrays, it was super busy and we had to park over a kilometre up the rode-we only got that close because someone just left!!! Even thought it was busy the stingrays where super cool and Jackson and I got to touch some really big ones! Next up we had a look at Fouls Bay, where I made a sand cake that I decorated with some cool, brightly coloured seaweed. I also enjoyed a swim in the crystal clear water. That afternoon Mum and I dropped the boys off and went back to the lighthouse where we went into the interpretive centre. There was so much to read about and it was so interesting, afterwards we went and had a closer look at the lighthouse. When the lighthouse closed Mum and I had a look at a beach called Skippy Rock. The next day we left early to go back to Gracetown. Augusta was amazing!

We stopped in Margaret River on the way to Gracetown and I had a look around the shops but I didn't find any thing that I wanted to spent my Christmas money on. Over the next couple of days in Gracetown we:
- Went to Busselton because it was bad weather and after looking in lots of shops I found a pink and white striped linen shirt that I really liked, which I bought. Afterwards we went to the skate park and I went for a bit of a roller skate.
- Went to Redgate Beach, where it was too cold to swim but it didn't matter as Jackson and I had fun exploring the rocks instead. I also enjoyed watching the huge waves crash.
- Had a look at a winery where Jackson and I learnt a new game called Pentanque (kind of like Bocce).
- Relaxed on the beach at Gracetown beach (where it was too cold for a swim) and explored the rocks.
- Played in fast flowing rapids at Yallingup beach. I floated down looking for shells, diving under to get them, then when the rapids finished I climbed onto some rocks, clambered up to the start, jumped in, then repeated. I had heaps of fun at Yallingup beach!
- Chilled at the caravan park where we played Mini Golf and I made bracelets with the two girls that were camped next door.
- Packed up in the morning and went to Kilcarnup where Mum and Dad tried to teach me to surf (on a cheap surfboard from an op shop), in-between surfing lessons I jumped waves and boogieboarded. By the time we left I still hadn't learnt how to surf!!
