Week 46- Sunday 22nd - Monday 30th January

Cape Riche, WA

Star Rating:★★

★=Full Star☆=Half a Star

On the day we arrived at Cape Riche (which is not just for the rich) it was cold and a bit rainy so we just relaxed under the awning, I did a bit of work on my blog. That night (because it cleared up) we had dinner around the campfire. Luckily the next day was much nicer and Mum and I started the day off with a nice long walk along the beach, it was beautiful. Later we drove down to a different beach where I practised surfing, I stood up on the board for about 20 seconds!!! Mum and I also did a bit of boogie boarding. Afterwards we walked up to the the inlet and Jackson and I had a go on his skimboard, it was FUN! When it was time to go back Dad drove and Mum, Jackson and I walked back. When we got back we all swam out to the pontoon, it was lots of fun balancing on it and jumping off it. We finished the day off with another beautiful campfire.

There were kangaroos hopping all through camp!

There were two Tawny Frogmouth Owls at Cape Riche, one had two SUPER cute babies!👇

Munglinup Beach, WA

Star Rating:★★

★=Full Star☆=Half a Star

The night before we went to Munglinup beach we stayed one night in Hopetoun, Jackson and I had some fun on the pontoons at Hopetoun beach, one of them had a slide.

At Munglinup beach I:
  • Went for many walks along the beach with Mum, sometimes Dad and Jackson came too but they were usually hunting for crayfish.
  • Explored the rocks with Mum, there were heaps of crabs in every crack and hole.
  • Made two bowls out of old materiel (from my clothes), they is super cool.
  • Went exploring in the car, on one 4×4 track there were  heaps of white tailed black cockatoos (also called Carnaby's black cockatoos)!
  • Watched the sunset twice whilst we were there, both times were beautiful.
Munglinup beach was beautiful!

Quagi Beach, WA

The campground at Quagi Beach was beautiful, it was surrounded by big Banksia trees and there was lots of birds. Jackson and I made Banksia men and they looked really cool. There was also a large pod of dolphins that were close to shore!
