At Streaky Bay we:
- Went on a scenic drive where we stopped at a nice lookout and at the blowhole, but because there wasn't any swell the blowhole didn't work as well as the one we saw in Albany.
- Had a look at the life-sized model of the massive great white shark that was caught at Streaky Bay.
- Had fish and chips for lunch, I had calamari and chips. It was fresh and super tasty.
- Had fun in the pool and went for a swim down at the beach.
- Walked out to the small island (the water only came just past my knees in the deepest bit), I went first and after a while the boys followed. On the way there as a small eagle ray swimming in the shallows.
- Watched the sunset from the jetty and the boys fished (sadly they didn't catch anything). Mum and I also took some great photos of the jetty at sunset.
The next morning we also walked across to the island but we didn't get our feet wet as it was low tide. Jackson walked across to the other side of the island-on the rocks. When we heard that he had caught a blue ringed octopus (extremely poisonous) we went straight around! The octopus was tiny and looked really cool, it was swimming around the bucket. After a couple of photos we let him go-when he was back in the ocean he swam really fast and hid in a clump of seaweed. On the way back around the rocks I fell in!!!! I was wearing boots and jeans-one of my boots got soaked! The tide had come in when we were around the other side so I had to take my shoes and socks off and walk through the water. My jeans got soaked and I cut my foot, but it was worth it to see the octopus. I would have loved to have spent more time in Streaky Bay.

On the way to Elliston we stopped at Murphy's Haystacks which are natural rock formations scattered in a paddock, there were all so impressive. We also stopped at Tahlia caves which were very cool to look at and explore.
When we got to Elliston we went for a long walk through the town and along the beach, as we were walking along the road next to the beach we spotted a sea lion! We ran after it for ages and followed it along the beach until it went out deep. It was so cool to look at as it had come so close into shore! When we had finished the walk we stopped at the pub and Jackson and I got a lemonade. The next day we went for a ride in the morning before doing a bit of work and going down to the beach at about 11:30. At the beach we went for a swim out to the pontoon where me and Jackson tried to get dad to fall off (we only got him off once but he got us off at least five times each!)-and I got covered in bird poo (there was lots of it on the pontoon) in the process! Afterwards Jackson and I made a massive sand castle with turrets, a mega moat and a rooftop pool! When we finished we went back to camp and had lunch before going to another beach where the boys went in diving and I made another sandcastle. That night we packed everything up so we could leave early in the morning. When we had finished packing everything up, we watched the sunset and did cartwheels (even Dad had a go!) before going to bed early. The next morning we were on the road before 6:20am.

Even though we were meant to stay two nights at Coffin Bay NP we only stayed one. The reason for this-bees!!! There were bees everywhere and all they wanted was water.....so they attacked everything from our sullage pipe and our drawbar tap to our drink bottles! They were also after shade so they were all buzzing UNDER our awning! Because the bees where super annoying back at camp we went exploring to a couple of beaches and went to a few lookouts on the afternoon we got there. Afterwards we managed to relax at camp before the bees got to much, so we went to another beach where I didn't go swimming but, instead, went for a nice long walk along the beach. The next morning we got up at six thirty and went for a hike. On the hike we watched the sunrise from a lookout, saw a long (and black) snake, saw some emus and saw lots of kangaroos. After the hike we had breakfast and went to the beach we went to the day before (Golden Beach) where we explored some rocks and walked along the beach-we found a bit of sea sponge that looked like a baseball glove and also, in one rockpool, I counted 0ver 63 starfish!!!!!! Next up we drove to Port Lincoln and set up in the caravan park. That afternoon Jackson and I had heap of fun in the pool that looked out onto the ocean. The next morning we had went down to the foreshore where Dad went to the bakery and bought us a honey stick (a pastry bun soaked in honey with cream in the middle) to share.
| At one of the beaches we went to there was heaps of cool rock formations that were made by fossilised roots from plants and trees. |

- Explored the beach, Jackson and I collected (then released) lots of 'beach jellies' (photo below).
- Went up to September Beach where I made two people out of sand and decorated them with seaweed.
- Watched the sunset down at the beach.
- Watched a group of six big emus walk through camp.
- Had fun on the beach in the morning, Jackson and I made a MASSIVE castle, two times the size of the one we made at Elliston. My hands were so sore from digging the moat (my thumbs had blisters on them) that I didn't get to do as much decorating as I would have liked.
- Went back up to September Beach and had a nice swim, Jackson and I also made a couple of other sand and seaweed people. On the way there and back we saw emus with lots of baby chicks
- Had a relaxing morning, and Mum and I went for a nice walk.
