At Broome we spent most of our time swimming in the big pool with our new friends, it was really fun but by the time our last day came around our eyes were stinging from all the chlorine! We also went to watch the sunset on Cable Beach multiple times-it was beautiful.
Our other highlights were:
- Coconut wells- it is a low-lying sand flat that fills with water every high tide. We swam in the shallow water and, when the water was going out, explored some rock pools.
- Town Beach night market-There were some beautiful stalls with pearls, paintings and photos in them.
- The old pearling ships-It was really interesting looking at, and reading about, how pearls were farmed many years ago.
- Matso's Brewery- We enjoyed sitting with a cold drink and watching the live music.
- Barred Creek-After following the river for a bit we stopped and explored the beautiful camping.
